GOT It Brand Origins

The seed for GOT It Brand was planted during a Business Management course at CUNY Baruch. The class discussion shifted to organizational structures and the roles of executives, managers, and the employees that keep companies running.

The reading materials outlined how each level contributes to a company’s overall success:

  • Executives: Responsible for setting company goals—the big dreams and the future vision.

  • Managers: Tasked with setting objectives—the measurable benchmarks that make achieving those goals possible.

  • Employees: Carry out the daily tactics that drive progress toward objectives and, ultimately, the company’s goals.

At the time, our founder absorbed the lesson and moved on, unaware of how deeply it would shape the future. Over a year later, the idea began to take root: as individuals, we’re like our own micro-companies. We’re responsible for setting our own goals—and doing the work to reach them. So why is it so hard?

The truth is, many of us set goals without the structure needed to follow through. We dream big, but we don’t break those dreams into plans. What if, instead, we approached our goals the same way successful companies do—by breaking them down into objectives and tactics that provide a roadmap to success?

And just like that… GOT It Brand was born. ✨
